TERENCE McKENNA
Terence Mckenna was an author, explorer, metaphysician, philospher, psychonaut, ethnobotanist, art historian, anti-materialist, environmentalist, platonist, and skeptic. Terence Mckenna like other so-called prophets found what he believes will happen on 2012. He created a personal computer called TIMEWAVE ZERO in 1970 after studying the Chinese I CHING. It created a mathematical algorithm that played out like a calendar for all 4,000 years of recorded history in time(It looks like a stock-market graph). The funny thing though is that when the graph shoots upward it represented times in history where humans and the earth prospered. When the graph dipped downward it represented times in history where the earth's fortunes were harmed to the T. Terence supports this by pointing out key times in history that match with the charts data. For instance the fall of the Roman Empire, the discovery of the New World, and the 20th century world wars. On Dec. 21,2012 though, the graph goes off of the charts. His estimate for this is that by then, people will have discovered the time-space continuum. In lamens terms we will have discovered how to manipulate space and time. Since history is only a record of known time, once we have figured out time travel there will be nothing left to record. Only because if we can travel through time and space, there would be no specific history to record. History as we know it would disappear. Can your mind comprehend that? This could also support why the Myan calendar ends at 2012. Time is merely no longer recorded because we can now choose where in time we want to be. Not necessarily speaking about 200 years ago, think more about other dimensions.
NOSTRADOMUS
Nostradomus never said anything specifically about 2012, or the end of the world at that matter. In fact he stated that his prophecies would be valid until the year 3797 which goes to show the world will not end in 2012. The one thing that he does write about in this time period is of a series of cateclismic events and the rise of a third antichrist. This could even include a third wolrd war. His previous antichrists were large figures such as Napoleon and Hitler. Again the reason that people believe Nostradomus predicted the end of the world is because they combine his predictions of cateclismic events with the end of the myan calendar to prodice the idea that the world will come to an end.
THE MYAN CALENDAR
The Myan Calendar supposedly predicts the end of the world, but does it really? The Myans called this date something like hunab cou. On this winter solstice in 2012 the sun will supposedly rise within the dark rift of the milky way which is our galaxy. This dark rift was known to them as a cosmic mother and modern astronomers believe this to be a black hole. Supposedly in the last five or so years, western astronomers have discovered that there actually is an enormous black hole in the center of the milky way. On December 21, 20120 the earth will supposedly be in exact alignment with the sun and the center of the milky way galaxy. This event only takes place every 25,800 years. Because of this, scientists say the earths crust will shift due to a pole change resulting in worldwide catastrophic events.
THE I CHING
The I Ching is another form of calendar like the Myan Calendar. It was formed by the ancient chinese and consists of sixty-four hexagrams. The I ching works synchronously and depicts events that are happening and could happen. It is a help in opening a more broad awareness to yourself. It could be used in opening up a part of yourself rather than the superficial consciousness humans live by. Terence McKenna found the number sixty-four in the I Ching to be very important in correlation with the number sixty-four that DNA runs by. He said it could be a code of time. He claims that like we as physical bodies can see into space, a culture that could see into time could predict where the river of time flows. The I Ching was an organized tool that could do this.
EDGAR CAYCE
Edgar Cayce was an American who became very famous for his ability to channel the answers to any events no matter where they occurred. He reached this channeling state through his own self-induced trance and he even claimed that everybody has this ability some are just naive of their own psychicness. A majority of his readings where given to those who were sick and in need of healing. Edgar Cayce never specifically spoke of the numbers 2012 but he did speak often of how we would enter into a new age. This new age that he spoke of consisted of three things. 1.purity 2.global consciousness and 3.a height of spiritual consciousness that we have yet to encounter. He suggested this new age would be an age of purity. Edgar Cayce spoke about how we are all brothers and sisters and that we would become aware of our relationships with one another. He also spoke of a spiritual consciousness in which each and every soul would become consciously aware of the ability to communicate with the divine.
THE HOPI PROPHECY
The Hopi prophecy consists of a carving on stone which symbolizes the life of man from its beginning to its end. It supposedly predicts the destiny of mankind. The prophecy begins with the prime creator or bieng and shows this creator giving man the sacred circle, which symbolizes a promised life of peace and plenty if man would follow the spiritual path. The brown man waited while the white man then traveled the earth to find knowledge and return but instead the white man broke away from the native people and followed the life of materialism and invention. There is a square carved symbolizing the white man exploring although they chose their own path. This is also symbolized by the cross carved in stone, showing that the white man chose his own belief. There are then three figures one symbolizing the first invention, another showing advances like the automobile, and the last showing scientific things such as the airplane. The white man now governs the land, sea, and sky. Along this path there are two circles symbolizing two major tragedies due to the fight for power such as World War I and World War II. This is the point in time in which we are currently in. There is one more circle that could symbolize a third world war along with two paths left. One path symbolizes a return to the sacred circle and a life of harmony of abundance and the other symbolizes the bumpy road ending in what the Hopi call purification by fire. Who knows if this is a physical fire or a fire of consciousness.
We are provided with a number of prophecies from cultures worldwide all saying that on 2012 something is going to happen, not necessarily negative, but something will happen. Take these theories into account and decide for yourself what will happen. COMMENT
