                                                         What are Chakras?

They are our energy centers. They are the areas where our life energy is able to flow in and out of our auras and are very important in bringing out the development of our self-consciousness. Our chakras effect our physical, mental, and emotional interactions with everything. There are seven chakras and each differs in purpose and meaning. The chakras are named from top to bottom as follows; Crown chakra, Third eye chakra, Throat chakra, Heart chakra, Solar plexus chakra, Sacral chakra, and Root chakra.

Crown chakra- it is associated with the colors violet and white and is located at the top of the head. This chakra is very important when it comes to intuition and connecting to one's own spirituality.

Brow chakra- This chakra is associated by the color indigo and it is located in the middle of the forehead. Opening this chakra increases mind development, insight, and is very infamous for beginning the unlockinbg of one's psychic abilities.
Throat chakra- The throat chakra is associated by the color blue and is located in the center of the throat and neck region. Ths chakra's main affiliation is with learning to take care of one's own needs.
Heart chakra- The heart chakra is associated by the colors green and pink and is located at the center of the chest. This chakra influences one's emotional empowerment.
Solar Plexus Chakra- This chakra is associated with the color yellow and is located at the solar plexus. It deals with the mental understanding of emotinal life.
Sacral chakra- This chakra is associated by the color orange. It is located around the lower abdomen to navel region and is affiliated with emotional connection.
Root chakra- The Root chakra is associated by the color red and is located at the base of the spine. It has to do with kinesthetic feelings and movement.

     There are many experts out there that are hireable to heal chakras but you are better off sitting at home and concentrating on these energy centers, due to scam artists and high prices. With practice you will soon be able to begin feeling sensations in these areas when concentrated on and can begin healing your own chakras. Remember it is your body so go with your instincts.
